I have so much fatigue on the topic of whether Warren is "moderate or not" that I've toyed with creating a website that's like "hot or not," but for rating people's moderate-ness. (I'm a moderate with gay family members I'd like to see able to marry their partners. My "moderateness" is in being too much of a libertarian to be truly liberal, and in trying to find ways to reach across the aisle on the issues I'm socially progressive on.)

You and Steve both have important things to say here. Nice to "meet" you!moshermamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06626593146392211985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6902056258087567564.post-77350314319163989222008-12-22T12:17:00.000-05:002008-12-22T12:17:00.000-05:00This is a beautiful piece Ian! Your words inspire me with hope that 'we the people' can aspire to meet on a higher plane, acknowledge or differences, but focus on issues that impact us all.

I think it is interesting that many of those that elected Obama are criticizing his selection of Warren. If we are going to heal this country we need to give our president-elect some support and some time. Running a country is hard, maybe we should let him do it for a while before being too critical. That is why we elected him.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
